Day four!

I was supposed to head out of town for the weekend but am staying home instead. Mom is visiting on Tuesday, and I want to have stuff cleaned up and perhaps even started by then.

Plans for today:

  1. move all the lumber down to the basement via the basement window (which is removable).
  2. carry down all the stuff that I bought on Wednesday.
  3. move as much junk as possible into the crawl space to make room for tools.
  4. remove the original wall insulation that is currently up (except for behind the water meter, which will be closed in in a closet) and cut it into strips for the one pre-fab wall by the stairs
  5. Sweep the walls to remove debris and same for the floors to start with a clean work space.
  6. apply the masonry sealer.

I think I may need to buy a large drywall/carpenters T and also a laser plumb/leveler.

Note: Had to run to Lowes to purchase another gallon of sealer, and a box of 8d nails for framing.

That's it for today, other than to take some pics of "the beginning" before I do anything major.
